BACKGROUND
I was guided to start doing readings in my 20’s. It took me a while to really let it happen because I was shy and unclear about how to be in my heart and speak honestly with people. I’d been trying to hide since I was a child and my body and heart were very protected, which made it difficult to speak from those places.

I knew my inner guidance put energy work in front of me, so even though I had a lot of fear at first, I could choose to work through the fear or go against my higher guidance.

I’ve always been able to clearly read the energy of people and land, so I felt I was being encouraged to use a skill that came naturally. I was in my twenties and already felt that I’d betrayed myself at a few crucial crossroads, so I went with higher guidance.

Before I accepted the path of intuitive energy work, I saw myself as a visual artist. When I started doing readings, I realized it was a more succinct use of my inner vision.

MY APPROACH
My purpose as a healing arts practitioner is to help people recover their energetic awareness, so that they can feel connected to their own higher guidance. To do this, I hold a particular ground and vibration, and stay out of the way.

During a session or class, there’s usually a lot of talking, but that is just the surface level. Many points of energy are in communication, negotiation and flow during a session. I stay in my energy, my ground, my alignment, and track everything.

I love the immediacy and directness of body centered psychic work. It can be intense, and a wonderful catalyst that often produces quick results.

I’ve also learned that healing, growth and transformation are processes. Our different bodies and spirits have their own timing. They need our loving presence to be with them unconditionally.

TRAINING
I have a BA in the History of Art from UC Berkeley and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts. I taught community mindfulness classes for 5 years in San Francisco, and trained for over 7 years in Intuitive Energy Work Processing at the Intuitive Energy Center in Berkeley, CA. I completed an extensive professional apprenticeship with Master Intuitive Phyllis Pay. I’m forever a student of the Earth, Buddhadharma, and most of all my students and clients.
